IMHO black and garnett red doesn't go. I have the same color truck as you and went with chrome. But its your truck so its really whatever you want.

I do like chrome, but my biggest fear is being very bling bling. In my city rims are stolen every night from somewhere. I figure the black would be a little sub-dued. I plan on using two wheel locks per tire also, just in case.

I agree with KB, go for it. I think black on red looks good. I plan on ditching the stock OEMs on my truck and getting black rims. And those are some of the best looking ones I have seen. If you are interested to see how they will look on your color , some wheel sites have a visual studio to give you an idea . The bottom line is if they are attractive to you, do it.
