I took the sending unit out and got an oil pressure test gage hooked to it right now and it reads about two psi at warm idle. I does motor swap and put new timeing chains in it and looked clean in side motor only has 126 miles on it. All I have to do is get this oil problem figured out and it will be like a new car. Do the 4.7 have a plennum gasket on them?? Should I put an oil pump in it or bearings? mybe plastic gage it ????
No plennum gasket and the oil pump is a PITA to get to on a 4.7L engine.

The first thing I would do is to replace the sending unit. If that fixes it, great. Unfortunately, the early 4.7L engine has some big problems. They over heat far too easy, the PVC design was bad and needed to changed, and it had problems with sludge build-up if you do a-lot of short trips. You can tell if you have problems from the short trips because the EGR pushes peanut butter looking oil into the oil filler neck. Personally, I do not like engine cleaners because they thin the oil out, the chemicals are hard on the bearing and gaskets, and can break stuff loose way too fast. The last thing you need is a big glob to block an oil passage or the pickup screen. Then you have zero pressure going to some part of the engine or zero oil getting though the screen. And there is one other possible problem with this engine. Dodge painted the inside surface of the oil pan with an anti-corrosive paint and that's what killed my engine. The paint delaminated and plugged-up the pickup screen while I was on the highway. I've been in a law suit with my warranty company for the last three years and I have no end in sight. You could try cutting your oil chances in half or thirds and no short trips or long idle times. You need to know what you're up against by removing the passenger side valve cover and seeing what it looks likes in there.
