Does anyone else notice this with their struts? The top of the strut shaft is slightly above the surface of the mounting surface. When I jack the truck up off the ground so the wheels are at full articulation, the top of the strut shaft sinks down about 1/3 of an inch. Very odd and I am 95% positive that the hex nut is tight because I used an impact and made sure the torque was 50 or so lbs with a tq wrench.

For picture reference, I am talking about the center shaft in the middle of the 3 strut plate mounts bolts. Can anyone double check if this is normal? I don't have a logical explanation and I encourage you to see if you have this problem yourself.

There will be some flex in the rubber mount that the strut bolts into, not sure what's normal or excessive for these trucks b/c i haven't noticed. Any car will see the strut top sink and raise slightly depending on the design with weight being added or removed from the wheel
