My dad i having a 69 mustang convertable built in dallas. It is going to be completely custom from one end to the other and will have over 500 HP. The delema we are faced with is weatehr or not to put a full roll cage in a convertable or not. Using this base pic could somebody try out some roll bar configurations. The car is going to be dark blue with 17 inch wheels when it is finished, might even have silver stripes or pin stripes. Just play arround a little if you dont mind. Thanks

why not build a full "covertible" rollcage. Simply build and solid weld the lower half of the cage into car, as normal. Just set it up where the top half of the cage disconnects and comes off. If you are interested in this idea, pm me and i can explain it in more detail, but when put together it would be just as strong as a fully welded cage. Yet, when the top is down, you can still ride in style. Hope this helps your dilemma
