I just purchased a 2001 Durango SLT, and I can't seem to get the interior lights working. The front overheads work if I push them, but not when I open the doors or use the keyless remote. I checked the fuse and it is good. I feel like I am missing something here. Also, I put the dimmer switch on both the upper dots and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, I also have a fog light out. What are the steps to replace it? Thanks!!!

It's probably the dimmer wheel or the CTM.
The fog bulb twists out counter-clockwise with the wiring connector attached. If you disconnect the wire 1st, you may drop the bulb. Your choice. You'll need a 898 bulb.

Some info on both ideas:

First, although I haven't taken the dimmer switch apart yet, it does function well as far as dimming the panel lights. During normal operation, my dimmer switch should be all the way up, but not at either of the two upper dots correct?

Second, on the CTM. I read that it controls other opperations such as the chime when the key is in the ignition and when the headlights are on with a door open. These functions work properly. Is there any way to test this module? Anyone have a part number for it?

Again, this is a 2001 Durango SLT. Thanks!!!
