Hey, I bought and paid for a new Hellcat that has been sitting in a rail yard about 20 miles from my dealer for a week. The car is being held hostage by Dodge with no release date!! Every new one is being held for some type of inspection. Did Dodge just start making cares in 2015. What is wrong with Fiat Chrysler Management???
PS...I WANT MY CAR!!!!!!!!

coming from a dealership stand point

This is going to sound completely out of context but hear me out, it might help you be a little more patients with you awesome new vehicle purchase. I work as a caterpillar/AGCO dealer service tech. As a technician we are exposed to the newest and most recent machines training. With the training there are updates and very in depth inspections with brand new machines (vehicles). We have just received in a 2015 AGCO Challenger MT 775E series tractor. The first one in my territory. From the factory we were given a checklist and a given amount of hours/days/weeks/months before we can actually give it to the customer. Now let me tell you this, if this is something along the lone that Dodge is doing with the new Hellcat then you should be happy that the inspection is being done because it could save your life or your passengers life , also save you money. Congratulations on the new purchase by the way. Would love to have a ride in a Hellcat. From what I've read there is no comparison.

Thank you and yes, you are correct. If they had not told me it was ready, I would not have driven two states away to pick it up in Phoenix. As you suspected, they are doing inspections that previous cars did not receive. I know, patience is what I need now!
