How in the world do you take the clutch fan off a 1995 dodge diesel. I went and rented the special tools to take it off and did nothing at all today except beat my hands up. I'm turning it clockwise but it will not move. Now let me see if I have this correct. When I am looking at the motor I turn the nut to my right. I'm trying to put an electric fan on. :help: :help:

I don't know if it is the same as my V10 but my threaded water pump has normal threads on it. I thought mine was left hand threads and banged up my hands pretty good until I picked up the new water pump and discovered it was normal threads.
Turn it to the left to unscrew the big nut.
If the water pump turns counterclockwise when the motor is running, it will have normal threads like my V10.

Thank you for your reply Sigllett. I finally had to get my rivet gun out and put a chisel in and loosen the bolt that way. And It is a left handed threads.
