Easiest way to get a little height in front is with coil spring spacers- cheap and easy to install. They typically come in a 2" spacer, but you can also get a 3" spacer too.

Like I did- Firestone Airbags. Mine give me anywhere from a 1 inch lift at 5psi up to a 4 inch lift at 100psi. You can also use blocks in the rear too. I actually bought a set of rear blocks and U-bolts for my truck (I think 3 inch) off this website, but installed the airbags instead. The blocks are still in the mail, if you want them, I can resell them to you!

iIf that is a4wd kit, it will not work on your 2wd. $wd coils are muck taller than 2wd coils

As for the hockey puck question. Some people usedto use tehm as a body lift. Not a good idea since they are not designed to handle the wieght and leverage applied to them.

I'm putting that exact kit on my '99 4x4 in about 2 weeks. It's sitting in my garage as we speak. It'll give me 2" in the front, and about 1" -1.5" in the rear. Just enough so I can run a 285/70/17, and still fit in my garage.

I'll post some pics when I get done.

The 40 is louder, and more harsh. The 50 that I have is just deep. Even when you step on it, it is not as aggresive sounding as the 40 or a Magnaflow, just nice deep sound. I really like it.

you cannot use that kit on a 2 wheel drive because they have an entirely different suspension in the front. you can use the blocks in the back but you will need to find coil spacers/coils that fit a 2 wheel drive truck. these are very easy to find on ebay and probably the cheapest there as well.
