Well got some new track times tonight. Met up with JIMMY TJ and hemiram11 at cecil county tonight. Ran with 1/2 take of fuel. Temp was about 64. Ran in full street trim even with my 22s and spare. Made five runs here is what they look like in order...Run #4 was my best all around

I pulled a 2.03--60' time here last march on my stock 20s and i am really thinking these 22s are killing me out of the hole and up top. My truck just dies when it shifts into 3rd. But first im going to take care of out of the hole and get an APS "hemi verter" on order tomorrow. That should drop me .2 on my 60' times and .4 in the 1/4. I would be happy with that.

what do you guys think. Mods in sig

those are still some good times. and yea...get that torque conveter and for now get a 6.1 cam and i'll bet money that with good air you could get some LOW 14's and maybe even a high 13!!

Im going to do the converter first then viper electric fans and then see where i stand from there. With my current set up and cooler weather i will see 14.5s all day long.

yea, but i think in cooler weather with the converter and e-fan it would put you at about a 14.0-14.1 all day long...but i think it will take the 6.1 to get you in the 13's more than once!

my truck ran like shit all night. best pass was a 14.1 @ 97ish. that was on a 2.2 60'. actually stalled on my 1st pass at about the 1000 ft when i let off

What was that loud bang when you took off on the first run? Or was that the Bullet?

Overall I'm happy for now ;)

I see a 6.1L cam and long-tubes over the winter :D
When I get my torque converter installed hopefully in the next month i will be going back to the track again. Ill let you know. But good times Jimmy!!! :rck: With cooler weather im sure you will see a high 14

Yeah. I'm happy with them, for now. I was really hoping for 14's last night. But back to back 15.1s is good. At least now I can say I have a low 15 second truck :)

If you head back down there let me know. I'm always game for some racing. I'm really interested to see how much that converter helps you out. Might have to add it too my to-do list.

Put those 17s on and you will see a high 14 with some traction.

wow jimmy you are one lucky man i have to hand it to you, you rarely see our trucks ( we have the same truck) run that low of times with that little of mods. oh and by the way i think if you sold that damn hypertech and got a superchip you would be a bit quicker :D man what is your wheel/tire combo?

and matt (hemiramon22s) im sure if you were running 17's and stock tires or better yet 17's a drag radials your times would be significantly faster. i say keep the 22's on when you get the torque converter and the electric fan and in colder weather you'll be in the 14.1-14.2 with the 22's still on. then when you get some track wheels and tires your times will hit the 13's easy.

yea i think so too and thats my plan. My TQ is on order, should be here in 10-14 days!!!

yesterday there was a red srt-10 quad cab with a pcm flash and intake running 13.3s all night.
