New to the forum Blue Smoke on Startup

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. It's been very helpful to read the threads from other Dodge truck owners but I haven't come across this yet.

I have a question:
Yesterday after the truck had sat for 24hrs I noticed a puff of blue smoke on start up. It ran clean after that. Is this part of the break in?

It's a new 04 Hemi QC LB and I only have 1200 miles on it now.

Thanks for any input you have.

Welcome! My 2000 Intepid R/T has done that since new and have 82000 km on the car with no problems whatsoever. To better help you, why don't you repost on this thread, changing your thread post to "Blue smoke on start up" or whatever. I think you will get a better reply to your answer. There are alot of knowledgable people on this forum.

Thanks all for the warm welcome, I will rename the thread if I can figure that out. BTW it only happened the once. I thought it might have something to do with the piston rings breaking in... :dunno:
