I getting ready to put new plugs and plug wires in, it's just time.

Anybody have any ideas on what brands or models are better as a performance UPGRADE? I'm willing to pay a premium for the good stuff not if it really isn't any better.

Any help is great! Thx Zee

I put in Denso Irridium plugs. AirRam has them as well. And I noticed an incredible positive effect on the butt dyno. They're kinda expensive (13$ a plug). But man, they're worth it I think.

Don't forget, no plug wires. These are coil on.

The service manual says you must use the same plugs that came from the factory.
No Iridium or Platinum or whatnot.
The NGK V-Power plugs are OEM approved.

What Denso's did you guys go with the IK16's or the cooler IK20's? Not sure if this is a good path since DC recommends cooper core plugs for the 4.7's. Don't know why the Denso site lists sizes for the 4.7 Dakota but not the 4.7 Ram...., Will these iridium plugs blow out the coil packs?
