A buddy of mine with a brand new CTD had the same thing happen to him earlier this week. He said it was an update for the computer that fixed it.

The other day, while idling for 5 min or so (I was loading garbage cans) I jumped in to take off and lo and behold I held a ABS light?! and Engine light?! I was puzzled and decided to turn off and restart! lights went out and I went on about my business. I never checked for codes..... long time Ford owner newbie to Dodge.
Today I was on my way to work and "Ding", and it wasn't SW airlins with a great rate! lol. It was my Engine light again. I was fueled up now, and when I started to jabber at work about it... a long time MOPAR guy said did you check your codes?!? and commenced to tell me the story, and we checked!
Well, now I seem to have the P1740 code! and kinda wondering if this is common for a new truck... gonna call the stealership soon. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.... still a lover of my new DODGE!
