I got a Curt Mfg front hitch for a steal (99 cents on ebay......plus shipping ) and I've never liked the sight of an empty hitch receiver. Any ideas on something I can keep in it until I have to actual put a hitch in it?

U-haul sells a small hardly noticeable 2" receiver hitch cover. It will stop dirt and stuff from getting in. I prefer them to the large gaudy looking covers.

haha, I was waiting for someone to say that. Right now, I'm needin new tires so that'll have to wait, but I do like the shackle idea.

I have the Warn front receiver hitch, and it has a black plug that fits into it. It's hardly noticeable if you ask me.

I'm convinced, I'm all about the shackle. I hate seein a receiver thats not "being used". I always have a one of my hitches in the back hooked up just incase, might as well for the front too.
