I Recently Purchased A Derale Pan For My 95 2500 8800gvw 5.9 4x4 47rh And Would Like To Know If B&m Filter Extender #bmm 12079 Would Be The Right One For My Application?

Do you need a filter extender with the Derale 14110 pan?

I am actually running one without an extension and have had no problem. But would it pick up cooler fluid if I had one?

Yes 14110 Is The One I Purchased

It Looks Like The B&m Extender Would Be Deeper Than The Mopar.i Called Derale And Was Told That An Extender Was Only Necessary On Drag Vehicles But To Me The Extender Would Be A Little More Insurance.

Before spending, or wasting, any money I would measure down to the top of the cooling tubes and compare the measurement to the measurement to the bottom of the old pan to see which spacer is the right fit.
