ok so as some of you know a few of us have been throwing around the idea of how the list is organized please vote which one you want so we can get it setup either way. voting ends on sunday 2/9/09. thanks and look forward to your responses. also there is the idea of using colors on the existing list to designate rc,qc, power adder, or diesel.if you want that option just type a 3 for a reply and put comments in a different reply.

the list as it stands looks like this:

i really appreciate the hard work but i just fear change
thats why i made it a pole. i mean this is everybodies list and everybody should be able to have thier opinion heard. i just think now is the time to do it since the orignal thread is getting so long that way when they start us over on the part 2 it's fresh and the majority has what they want. and theres no saying that other ideas can't be suggested also.

When I made the first one I was having a hard time deciding how I should break it up. I know I havent really been very good with keeping it up to date lately. Ive got a lot going on with a baby on the way. Another thing that is hard is that it the fresh list can never stay at the top of the thread for long. You can only edit a post so many times so it tends to get mixed up and posted many times throughout one thread. That is one reason I put it in HTML on that free Yahoo webpage.

I say do whatever the people want, and if you end up taking it over, good luck keeping your PM box cleared. :)

I agree that the 1st one isnt perfect, but I dont like how the 2nd one is broken down into so many different categories. It makes it hard to keep track of who is running what. The first list keeps everything organized fastest to slowest, and gives all the same info as far as engine size, N/A, f/i, etc...This way if someone ants to see what mos it takes to run a certain ET, it is right there in front of them on 1 list.

I vote to keet it like it is.

I like the second, the only thing I would change would be the wording "forced air induction" to power adders due to the fact you have no2 and turbos in the forced air section. but I am still voteing, sorry

now that you did all the hard work to make both list's it shouldn't be to hard to keep them both updated and everyone happy. I prefer the 2nd list.

I like either list. If your going to get so many groups though you should separate 2wd and 4wds.

Look at the traveling trophie post over on lx forum under the track section something like that wouldn't be too bad.

some thing like

2wd...................4wd
RC 5.7................rc 5.7

qc 5.7.................qc 5.7

rc big displacement........rc big displacement

qc big d.....................qc big d

rc power adder........................ rc power adder

qc power adder......................qc power adder

I voted to keep the first one. Its straight forward & to the point. The second one just seems like its broken up to make everyone seem like they are @ the top or close too the top of the list to make everyone "happy". It seems like the second one is to make everyone in their mind feel special when there are still 20 trucks faster than them in the 3rd gen section. It is what it is to me. I say put everything in one list so you can see what your running against the other guys. Thats just heads up drag racing.

Well crap, now that I've looked at both lists I kind of like the original one the best. Maybe add a sub cat for the SRT-10 guys, if we get more then a few, like the diesel guys, but other then that it seems to function fine.:D

I'm not real keen on either one, but I prefer the simpler current one. Don't care the current club concept, it does separate 1 sec intervals but I think it tends to make 16, 17 + sec trucks not get on the list. Those are they guys that can really have the most fun and can come up with the closest competition by hitting the tracks.
We've got tons of stock to lightly modded rams around, the lists should be full of em.

I voted for the original list, because I agree with Gary's philosophy. The second list reminds me of how the 4.7 guys were shoved to the corner with their own section. Too much segregation with the second list. I think the second list will cause people to refrain from pushing as hard as the next guy to make a record. For example, Sam is nearly as quick as some of the guys with strokers and N2O in the 1/8th which is pretty impressive, but with the second list it is more difficult to compare the times. I say just keep the 1st list cleaned up Mike and everything is good.

well after looking at it i really don't like either list. i mean they are both fuctionall and each do something the other doesn't. for me i mainly look at the qc times because i got a qc but at the same time its kind cool when you join say the 13 sec club. what i think would work the best is some type of excel spreadsheet that did both or if i could come up with a templete that had both list on there that way you knew how you were doing overall and you knew exactly how you were doing with others in the same general catagory.
