Walked pretty hard on an Olds Intrigue the other night. Wasnt looking for a race, but he obviously didnt think I took off from the stoplight fast enough an as soon as the road opened up to two lane (in each direction) he *tried* to pass. Those Intrigues are quick, but not quick enough.

My car really woke up after I replaced that fuel injector that stuck open. I think it was sticking occassionally for a while before it went out. She pulls hard from 2000rpm all the way up to the Mopar PCM's 7500rpm rev limit. I actually lit the tires up pretty good punching it at a 10-15mph roll in 1st the other day. Surprised me, since I still have my sticky summer treads on, and i've got the 3.55 ratio trans, instead of the 3.94.

Good kill Rice! I know what you mean by punching it at low speeds in first and spinning the tires.The 16's just chirp a few times and when I bang sec they chirp. I used to spin up like that on the 14's punching it in second, especially if I got it on a bind. I like that. Makes people wonder what we have donew to these cars. LOL Later bud.

I know my car is puttin down some good horses now but man my tyres are sticky sons of guns. I spin up first on a dry road and dump second and it doesn't chirp! Just grabs down on the road and takes off! We'll see how that is when I get my new cam and ecu sorted! lol. Prob start costing me a bit for tyres I guess!

By the way. How do you guys run against BMWs? I trounch everything I go against here, except the M3 coupe or the big 5 series. Even the 6 cylinder 3 series I eat up.

I killed a BMW of some sorts one day.

One car that really gave me some fits before my mods was an SHO Ford Taurus. The v-6 version I hope! LOL It was impresive at the start especially when I missed 3rd. It pulled away quick and I wasn't sure Id catch up. LMAO I did and I passed him. I tear apart Grand am Gt's by the dozens also v-6. A toy Solara GT is a v-6 and I kept it behind me for miles! Then he grew some balls and took me when my speed limiter kicked in for the thrid or fourth time!! LMFAO He actually stopped me to see what I had done to the car. He was impressed with it especially when I said it was stock!

On my 16's I can spin up 1st on the go already. They will spin maybe once in 2nd.
On my 14's I can spin up in 1st and 2nd and then chirp third on dry roads.....With perfect shifts that is!!! I also get alot more wheel hop with 16's. So I don't spin them much.
