Hey guys, just my sony head unit.

I went to install it and it didnt work, I have the power wired

There is a yellow wire that says constant power. but when i wire that up it keeps on chiming my car. and when its turned on it messes up the ignition.

There also is some random brown wire. What is this for?

Any pictures would be great or help.

I know some people tap into the auxilary power outlet for constant and the cigarette lighter for ignition. May want to try taping into that.

thats what i wana know, ive never had anyproblems installing a radio if using an aftermarket radio adapter harness

from everything I know when you use the correct wiring harness, the yellow wire does have to be hooked up.

if you use the harness you have to buy to plug into the chrysler factory wiring... then hook the harness into the radio harness how did you go wrong?

theres 2 of each wire... they go all together
red to red blue to blue
whitestripe yellow wire to whitestripe yellow wire?
