My '75 dart has the factory moonroof, but it doesn't work. I removed the entire assembly so that I could troubleshoot it. It appears the springs are kinked and will not pass through the hand crank mechanism. I have faith I can fix it if I can get replacement parts.

Does anyone know where I can get parts for these things?

I have a specialty shop that said they can repair it, but they want $75 just to look at it. Plus I'd prefer to do it myself so that I can do all the bodywork on the panel before the new weather stripping and such goes on.

I'll ask a silly question, have you looked to see if it is still available new?

I remember replacing them in my old dartsport 340 but that was quite a few years ago now.

I guess I can check. I haven't seen them in Paddock or Year One, and since they were pretty low production I doubt Mopar still has anything.

Sometimes that is why they still have something, also other models may be the same part, never hurts to check.

Haven't had a chance. I hope to start really looking in the next week or so. I agressively bent the springs back in to shape, so I'm gonna see if it works now.

Otherwise..the parts hunting will begin!!!!
