with just a leveling kit, you can fit a 35/12.5/17 tire on that wheel, but may get a little bit of rubbing when the steering is turned at full lock. A 33/12.5/17 will fit better. I have those wheels, so click on my gallery if you want to see what a 35/12.5/17 looks like mounted on them, keep in mind my truck is lifted

Those wheels will work great. With the 2" level kit, guys can typically fit 35"x12.5"x17" tires. I checked the Interco website and it looks like the options are:

295/70/17, which is a 33.25x11.6x17
33x13x17
35x12.5x17

The only one I do not hear as much about are the 33x13x17 size, and some guys feel that 35s on these trucks with just a level kit may look a bit "stuffed", meaning that they they are taking up lots of the wheel wheel space. An option later might be a 3" body lift if he wanted to get the truck up a little higher.

So, the bottom line is that the 295/70/17s and the 35x12.5x17s will work, and the 33x13x17s probably will also, but I might be wary.

Hope this helps ...

Don't know about the tires, but the Moto's will be a good present!

hi, welcome to DT.....you are a great wife to be looking to get these for your husband. As said 35's could fit, but they would be stuff and there is a chance of slight rubbing....from what ggaravnt posted you can't go wrong with the 295/70/17's
