I am trying to figure out what valve springs to get and the proper length push rods.

My lift will be .512 the heads shaved 0.030 I want to also go with a thinner head gasket. So would I just subtract the difference from stock length ?

6.92 - stock length
- 0.030 Shaved head
- 0.010 - Difference in head gasket
= 6.88 total length ?

Go with the crower springs their cheaper than the mopar springs. You don't need pushrods unless yours are bent or you are running guide plates. You need a shim kit from Crane Cams for pedestal mount rocker arms the same kit a small block ford uses.

Sweet I was just look at the shims.

I was unable to find crower springs on their site. I guess my question is would .525 for .512 a good match or should I go with a spring rated at a higher lift ?

Either will be fine. The most important thing is getting the install heights correct. www.socaldakota.com carries crower springs.

Ok so not so important as long as my range is within. I will probably just go local since springs are not that expensive to begin with.

not sure how these dodge heads are but if you mill the heads you might have to mill the intake as well . want to think out of the box oz , look into angle milling the heads .

The heads are already milled I will get the intake side of the head milled if they did not do it for me already. Thanks for the heads up.
