Is there a way to make my paint shine again w/o repainting it? And maybe repair the scratches from mud?

compound, polish, glaze, wax.

Use an electric buffer with the correct pads for each product and finish off with a wax on/ wax off by hand.

or.... bring it to the detail shop and pay to have it done

If the scratches are bad enough you can wet sand the whole truck with 1500 gritt sandpaper then reclear the truck.

I thought detail shops just cleaned vehicles

And can they remove those stripes I put on it last year w/o leaving any marks? One is starting to bubble off, and I want to put new ones on it. And if I get new stripes, could they put those on for me? (I'm sure they could do a better job)

Theres a lot of guys around here that will buff the outside, then detail interior and exterior of a CAR for right around 100 bucks. A truck would most likely be more due to more sheetmetal to cover, but i wouldn't think any more than 125 bucks.

I found a rust spot on the edge of the door too, not bigger than a square millimeter, where it looks like someone chipped it and didn't repair it. How much would that be you think?
