I'm wondering if my wiper motor went out on my Dakota. It was right after a snow storm. They won't turn on at all now.

Another strange thing is there is the washer fluid won't even spray. So I'm wondering if it isn't the motor, maybe it's a fuse that controls both?

My wipers stopped on my New Yorker once, it ended up being the wiper motor. Im not sure if it would spray or not. Maybe you are out of washer fluid ? Its easy to lose track of that stuff.

Or, you might have a bad wiper relay ?

Thanks for the reply;

I do have plenty of wiper fluid.

I was hoping it was the relay because that was only 13 bucks. No luck. And of course the relay isn't refundable once installed.

I guess it's time to try the motor.

thanks for the help, it was the fuse!

I changed the relay out under the hood hoping it was that. I looked in some manuals and didn't know which fuse it would be still, but a friend helped me out.

Now both fluid and wipers work.:D
