Well actually two

1) What's the stock muffler made of, Stainless, Aluminized?
2) How long does the stock last on the D's? Anyone have theirs rust through?

I guess that's three.

Regarding question #1, I have no clue.

Regarding question #2. 60,000 miles on my '04 and no issues so far.

I was wondering cause I'd hate to swap it out and put a different one on that wouldn't last as long as the stock. Been thinking about a Flowmaster and there not stainless. The stock one on my last truck (F150) was 12 years old, only had one small hole in the back, about 1/2" in size. Never had to do anything to that system.

I am pretty sure with Flowmaster you either can get a alum. or a stainless, I chose stainless for my dango, no regrets, lots of smiles.

1. Probably something cheap.
2. Atleast 60,000 miles... No

I'd go for stainless steel as it will last longer than you will probably own your durango. I have a stainless steel magnaflow muffler right now. I'll put up some pictures once I get my custom Magnaflow Cat-back installed.

Been thinking about a Flowmaster 50 SUV but I haven't seen stainless. Where'd you get your 40 at?
