Any one use this to wash their truck? Curious to know if it really works.

i have used this thing ever since it came out. it works very well! just have to change the filter out about every five washes or so. no water spots at all, even on windows

How about washing in the sun? I don't have any shade around my house and the water dries quick on black paint...

i dont have any shade either. while your washing, keep wetting the parts that are allready washed, so everything stays wet. then just use the mist part on the whole truck when your finished.

Didn't realize it only lasted 5 washes. How much do the filters and soap cost?

You wouldn't have to use their soap.

the filters are for 10 washes, and they cost 5 bucks each, soap costs the same.

Does the filter last longer depending on the quality of the water? Our water is very clean, not like I'm pulling out of a well.

i just said five washes cause our water is very hard. you do have to use their soap, it has some kind of clean rinse stuff in it so that it helps not to spot. i tried it with regular car wash soap, and i may as well not used the thing at all, it spotted bad.

I used some turtle wax car wash soap and it didn't leave any spots.

dont use the soap with the carnuba wax beads in it, it will clog it up....lol
