I recently purchased a 1989 D100 pickup for my son as a birthday present.
After we recieved it we noticed that the person that owed the truck had
put a 360 in it. it originally came with a 6cylinder.Problem is he jury rigged the motor mounts to fit and did'nt do a good job at all.does anyone know if I can purchase a swap kit from a 6 to a 8.Schumacher says they don't make them
although he was rather rude.If any one knows what I can do to make this right and a good job PLEASE help us. It is for my son and he is 16 and I want it safe. Thanks

Your best bet would be to go to a junkyard and ask the guys for a set of mount brackets from a 360 truck. They need to be 360 brackets...318 brackets are slightly different.

After you install the correct brackets, new rubber mounts are available at your local parts store.

The guys at Shumacher are a bunch of a-holes anyway.
