.............a snippett from WhiteSport600 :

Alright, we only made two pulls, both were with TST on 2/2 and the EZ on the highest settings. With the CLDL the truck made 615 rwhp and just over 1500 tq. With the Smarty, the truck made 660 rwhp and 1647 rwtq! All this with the SP66 and 90hp injectors... I was very happy with the tq #'s for the first runs. We'll wait and see how it does with a much bigger set of Flux's! (Hint Hint DON M)...

So yes, back to back the Smarty on Level 8 outperformed the CLDL by 45hp.

I don't think there's any DuraMax guys out there with EFI live or PPE doing those numbers........................and staying intact, too.

Sweet Numbers, I so wish I had a CTD, but I guess that will be my next engine.

My buddy just bought EFI Live for his DMax but hasn't installed it yet because he wants to do his tranny first. I don't know what they are getting on the dyno, but guys with the EFI Live are running high 12's and low 13's with it. It is crazy!
Lots of guys are starting to break stuff now that they are making those big numbers. Broken valves, blown head gaskets, and burnt pistons are starting to pop up on the boards. I think 500hp is a good fun number that is fairly safe for the engine. I have no plans on getting that high anymore. I guess I just don't trust the new truck as much as I did the old 03.....

Man! 10 seconds is just crazy on a big truck like that!! I had a 10 second Road Runner and it was awesome. I just can't imagine this truck going that fast. Just boggles the mind........
