Can the middle seats in the 98 caravan be reversed? I want to have them so they face the back seat. What if I put the bench in the middle, then put the middle seats in the back?

You could try it, but I think the mounts may not allow it.

I tried it in mine once, they wont clear the back of the front seats
I have a base model and the middle seat back doesnt recline or anything.
