Maximum Tire Size 2005 1500 Quad Cab

I just bought a 2005 1500 Quad Cab and I am wondering what the maximum tire size I can put on it without lifting it or adding any modifications. I am planning to run some 17 or 18 inch wheels from KMC. The XD Series Assualt. Can anyone also recommend a good tire.

305/70/17 No modifications necessary, no rubbing, no problem
