a low idle believe it or not is a good sign. low is usually easy to fix. high idles can be more complicated with an added complication of intake manifold leaks.
for my low idle I just memory dump the computer. fixed itself. sometimes moisture can imitate a failing sensor. free and cheap tests first!

I’m replacing my 5.2 240k (And very tired)in my 99 ram 1500 and I want a little more torque out of it but I don’t know what the stock cam is or what type of cam I would need to get the torque I want. 5.2 137k out of a 2001
