What is the largest tire have any of you used on the chrome 17's. Im looking at firestone destination A/T either 285 275 265/70 /17. I dont really want to get an M/T it would be a waste for me. And anything will look better than the wimpy 245/70/17 wrangler sra that are on there now. Any opinions? pictures?

i have a diesel 4x4 and i put 315 70 17s on it. depending on what you have i guess it could be different. a 285 should still fit if its a 1500.

285 will deff fit thats a 33 inch tire that 33 inch tall tires is the stock hight of the tire that comes on the factory 20 inch rim

yeah stock 20s are 33x11x20 you really you could do a 33x12.50 and be fine!

I run 285/70's on the rear, fits fine....

I have a 4.7 with 3.92's how much do you guys think the plus 2"s in diameter would affect my performance in acceleration. Stockers are 30.6"s. Anyone have pics of larger A/T"s mounted thanks for the help.
