I recently bought some LEDs for my interior. I wanted to check the color against the dash lights before I started doing an install. So I touched the leads inside the cigarette lighter. Bad news is that the LEDs are the wrong color. Worse news, my "Lamp Out" light lit up. I have checked all of the bulbs on the exterior and I do not see any lights out. How do I get the Lamp Out light to go off???

OK, I posted this and then checked again.. Is the third brake light supposed to be on when the lights are on or just when the brake pedal is pressed? Maybe I do have a bulb out.....

It should only be on when you press the brake pedal. The 3rd brake light isn't in the Lamp Out circuit. You might have a bulb about to burn out, and its just warning you.
