my check engine light came on today, took it to my father-in-law got it scanned and cleared he couldn't find the code in his alldata program. Here is the code P0457 anybody know what this is?

Here's what I have on codes from 40-60. Don't have that exact one but it sounds like emissions related. I just cut the ends of a 3/4" looking U shaped hose from evaporator and re connected it to squelch the MIL on our '01 Durango. It was a 442 code and than a 455. My buddy's '03 Ram did the same thing.

The gas cap was my first suspect. I priced one at Advance Auto Parts and it didn't have a teather.(sp?) It was $14. I told them I wanted to at least price the one from the dealership first since it's for the Mrs' Durango. They laughed and said it would be at least $30. Laugh's on them. It was $13.xx with the teather.(sp?) Then when the light came back on, I crawled under it to look around. The U shaped hose had several small cracks and one big gaping crack where it slipped on the nipples.
