Key in accessory position - no power

Just checking to see if this is a common problem or if I'm just special......

Not long after new, I noticed when the key was turned to the accessory position, the power wouldn't come on. If I wiggled the key...wha la, power. It went away for the longest time but now is back. My 3 years on warranty is up in June and I'll be taking it in.

Just curious if anyone else had this same issue.

nope but it sounds like a bad ignition switch have them replace it and take it in when its doing the prob!! otherwise they will say we cant recreate the problem and not fix it

I had the same problem in a car I had but I would get a shock from the key when it would short out

I had the same issue with mine, dealer was able to fix it but never told what the issue was - took him about 10 minutes,

having had the same problem, i've ignored it until now... because now, the blower motor comes back after i pull the key out... i wiggle the key hole with the tip of my key, and it turns off, but killed my battery last night and had to replace battery... i am debating replacing the ignition switch...
