I am having an issue with my key fob on a 2015 GT. I have been getting a lot of 'Key Fob not Detected' messages. The latest happened today. I got out of my car and went to lock the doors with the passive handle, and nothing happened. I got back in the car and got the message. I am thinking it is the key fob battery, but the buttons on the fob (like lock) work. Does anybody know if the key fob communications are lost before the other functions with a low battery? I am going to replace the battery but was wondering if anybody has had similar issues.

Hi richbogrow,

If replacing the battery doesn't work I would recommend taking your vehicle into a Dodge dealership for diagnosis. Let me know if you would like assistance setting up and appointment or would like me to follow up with them for you!
