Anyone one else out there who has a K&N CAI notice how much louder it is?

...and has anyone bothered to compare the plastic tube intake vs the metal in terms of noise level?

Not complaining about mine - I was just surprised it was "that" in your face.

i have an ebay cai and duals...had the cai first and noticed the exhaust note changed (for the better)...together the truck just sounds MEAN

I have a K&N and the increase in noise was the first thing i noticed along with the throttle response! I loved it and it was my first mod but i will probably go with the Ram Hammer or something else after deployment
