I have a 2000 ram sport and I need new headlights what is the difference between the sport modle and the non sport modle?

The Sport models are clear, and have a dual bulb set-up. While the regular are frosted with only one bulb in them.

if I buy the nonsport model head light will it fit?

ramsport: why do you need new headlights? are they hazing on you? I had to replace mine and bought some cheapo aftermarkets from a place i absolutely hate, but i needed them. They leaked and i had to take them off and apply some silicon around the seams. They are fine now. Let me know if that is your problem. they were $125 on ebay.. The dealer wants $220 per side

my adjustment screws were busted and I am moving to Texas. I keep hearing about this car inspection and something about the adjustment on the headlights. so I figure that I would get them now before I get there and have to buy them. Is there a place that I can get them for cheaper than $125.

$125 is VERY cheap for a set of sport headlights. the standard headlights are really cheap off ebay. But the sports are hard to come by. You might be agle to get just the housing and take your lights out and put in them.
