Need to replace the 47re tranny in my 96 CTD. Would like any info, pro or con on Jasper reman. trannys.

I bought my 99 dodge and it has a remad jasper tranny. I love it. shifts easy and runs great in the cold and heat.

Jasper said they warranty for 3yr.-100k.

mine had 2 year 75000 mile warranty. but only on internals

I didn't get much info when I called Jasper. Asked on using a exhaust brake and they said it didn't matter...warranty was the same.
