a sub box is only half the equation, you gotta get good subs to get good sound, go to probox.com and check out their stuff, but i have 2 10's under my back seat and it has a good tight bass sound to it

All subs have different mounting depths along with different requirements for qubic ft. find out what the mounting depths are for the box and then look for subs that will fit in the box. audioenhancers.com make some pretty cool boxes for dodges..

The mounting depth for the box he is looking at is 6-1/4". You are also going to need a good amp (if you don't allready have one) to make good sound. I got a 1,050 watt Lightning Audio amp pushing 2, 12" in my car.

another question.. where are you going to put the amp? if your box takes up all the room under the rear seat, your left w/ under the front seats or inside the rear seat

also people can swipe the box real easy.. i'd go with the jl stealth box, it comes w/ a jl 12w3 and i can tell you from experiance it will shake the sh** out of the truck... i'm running a sony xplod 780w 2 channel, bridged mono

i got mine from meyer-emco, i thought crutchfield, but it seems they don't sell JL anymore, i'd go with a local store tho, that way you can get the warranty. i just blew my sub after 3 years and it's getting replaced for free

before you buy, this is from JLAudio's website:

Purchasing JL AUDIO Products via the Internet

With e-commerce expanding like wildfire, we get many requests asking if JL AUDIO products are available for purchase via the Internet. The short answer is yes, but these Internet retailers are not authorized, endorsed or guaranteed by JL AUDIO.

As a company, we put a tremendous amount of effort into training our authorized dealers to provide you, the end-user, with valuable advice and installation expertise. With automotive speaker systems, the importance of quality system design and installation is paramount. For that reason, we do not believe that Internet retailers can provide the level of service we feel our customers deserve and we do NOT authorize any dealer to sell product via Internet or Mail Order.

JL AUDIO products purchased from unauthorized sources carry no warranty from JL AUDIO, regardless of any claims made by the seller. We have no way of determining whether these products are used, refurbished, counterfeit, stolen or otherwise compromised. Furthermore, many unscrupulous retailers attempt to remove factory serial numbers in order to avoid detection. In the process, the speaker's ability to reliably reproduce sound is often destroyed.

As a customer, you should value the opportunity to audition products and receive face-to-face service from people who will be there for you after the sale. For that reason, we encourage you to support your local, authorized bricks and mortar JL AUDIO retailer. They have made a commitment to personal service and selection that no Internet retailer can match.

Look for the Authorized JL AUDIO Dealer plaque at your dealer. You may also search our Dealer Finder to locate dealers in your area.
and with the box being 500 bucks, and the sub going for over 200 if you blow it... i'd be cautious about purchasing online

here's JL's dealer finder page, just enter your zip...

jl audio dealer finder

i looked at that audioenhancers site.. they do sell JL subs, but not the steathbox...
