I am trying to find out how to remove the covers on the center reading-map lights on a 99 intrepid. The headlights are also fogged looking. Can anyone help? I also have a 98 intrepid that seems to have an oil vapor lock, sometimes the oil dipstick reads like no oil is there but the car is full of oil.

hey. i don't know about the map light as i own a 96. but i had used mothers cleaner wax with carnuba on my headlights, and they look brand new. but you need a buffer or they'll take forever. i have to buff them every few months.
as for the oil. best time to check the oil is first thing in the morning before you start it. of course the ground has to be level. when i worked at the garage. some cars you couldn't do a proper oil change because if you filled it up, it could be over full or under full. you car might be on of "those" cars.
my old supra turbo would always show low unless i checked it first thing in the morning.
hope this helps you.
