So it was Christmas Eve... I had been hauling around all of the gifts for my family in the back of my car (great place to hide them when you are the only one with keys and no one really rides in it but me). Christmas eve came around so I wanted to park as close as I could to the front door... I pulled it around front, unloaded it, and got lazy, "She'll be alright for one night out there", I said (famous last words)...

$6500.00 later she is all back to normal, well for the most part... Notice that the two cars behind me were totalled, the silver one is not touching the ground in the back at all, suspended between the neon and the D...

Freakin' A, that Tercel got hammered. Your D looks like it was barely flicked (though I'm guessing the bumper covers hid most the real damage.

Jeez... poor car. Did the girl have enough coverage for all three cars she hit? That's one expensive wreck.

Rear Bumper, Bumper mounts (those little retractable things were hammered), bent frame rear axle back (straightened - don't know if I like that...) New bumper covers front and rear, paint = 6500...

Her insurance covered the Neon... partial Tercel and all three rental cars... The repairs on mine were covered by uninsured motorist... The only one that really got screwed over was the Tercel... She had a lot of out of pocket expenses...

HEY... were you there??? For real, were you there? Your little quote there is almost exactly what the witness said... I know you are kinda playing the beat up the drunk thing but I am telling you the "staggered out and falling on the grass with major attitude" was exactly what happened.... I guess it doesn't take much to guess the scenario...

Probably happens to people every weekend...

And.... not only was the mirror knocked crazy like that but my dash carpet was in the third row seat...

I wish I could say "yes" I was there, but unfortunately I was not. But I know the scenario all too well, and the person did have to go to the hospital when he gave me attitude, it wasn't beat up the drunk syndrome, it was beat the sh*t out of somebody who had absolutlely no regard for anybody else's life or property. . .

you'd have to be really plastered to not see a kia painted in neon hot mustard. good to hear you didn't get royally screwed.i wouldn't worry about the axle back frame straightening if that's all it was. that won't affect handling/alignment.
