I need a tranny rebuilt kit and a torque converter for my 01 dodge ram.
But I don't know where to purchase it, can you guys give me some recommendations ?

Watch out for the shipping though. I bought two kits from them.

Only thing they dont include that bugs me is the bands.

Or, you could call up Wayne at APS Precision, he can get you a kit or any individual parts you need, from mild stock rebuild, to wild race truck tranny parts. I've bought parts from him as well and plan to in the future as I have a 46RE in my 96 Ram I need to rebuild again.

But what all do I need to purchase to rebuild a transmission ?

moe in wichita ks

checkout these guys. they dont sell complete trans, just parts. i have known them from the late 60s. 90% of ALL trans shops get parts from them. they dont mind giveing advise, and they realy do know any question you can put to them. they are very honest.

What are you looking to do? A master rebuild kit should take care of you. Seals, O-Rings, gaskets, clutches, bands, and other things too. I would invest on a shift kit also.
