I finally converted my boyfriend he bought a dodge truck last week!!

it's a 1987 ram 150 with a little slant six and a one barrel carb
it's in pretty good shape and he got a great deal on it

it took me awhile because he has always had chevys and gm, his first car was a '62 chevy but I knew I could do it because his favorite car was the '78 polera with a 383 hemi
and except for having to rebuild the trans every six months he loved that car

383 is not a Hemi AFAIK.

I've always been a Dodge truck fan, good to hear you converted another from the others.

Good job! Now you have to help him get rid of the 1-bbl and replace it w/ a Super Six 2bbl setup. Or a 4-bbl setup with headers. And while you're at it, a blower would help it out good...

it's ok speed, I have already gotten started he brought it down and I got my hands under the hood first things first the repairs with whatever is wrong
we changed the spark plugs and checked distibutor car and rotor button and all that stuff changed the air filter and oil (all the while mentioning all things we could upgrade) and replaced exhust manifold gasket
but it has a few probs I think it needs an alternator because the battery keeps going dead and it has a clunk when it shifts from first to second (it's an automatic)
and the power steering acts like it needs fluid but it resevoir is full so i think it needs a new pump but other then that she seems to be in great shape

so sometime this week we'll work on it some more and I want to work on mine
I'm gonna change the oil and spark plugs and replaced the fuel pump
gosh where did my spare time go? :YO:
