2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 5.9L with over 172,000 miles on it, I am the original owner. This truck has been a work horse, it has towed, hauled and in general suffered alot of abuse but has only required a minimum of repairs. The only repairs to date on the vehicle are as follows: replaced the front brakes 3 times and the rear once (due to how I drive mostly), replaced windshield wiper motor, thermostat and water pump. Obviously tires have been changed, wiper blades and other incidentals as well. Now here's the kicker......this truck still runs strong today and in it's 172,000 mile lifetime has only had 4 oil changes. You read it right----4 oil changes over 172,000 miles, with the first one being done at 51,000 miles. This 5.9 is the best engine I have ever had and I have owned Ford,s, Chevy's, GMC's and none of them hold a candle to my work horse Dodge. One more thing of interest....This truck has been rear ended 6 times and has yet to suffer any damage, but the cars that hit my truck, well lets just say they don't look so good.
