I'm 20 and I've been driving for 4 and a half years. In those I've owned 7 vehicles.

1994 Ford Probe
1988 Pontiac Fiero
1980 Jeep CJ5
2007 Pontiac Solstice
2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10
2003 Chevy Cavalier
2003 Dodge Ram SLT - Current

Any my fiance who's been driving for 3 years has owned

2000 Trans Am
1999 Olds Alero
2004 Chevy Cavalier
1997 GMC Sonoma
1998 Chevy S-10
1998 Grand Prix GTP - Current

So between the two of us we average a new vehicle every 6 months. I think we've finally settled for a while on what we have though, lol. Our next two will be a 2000 Firehawk and a 2005 SRT-10 Ram but that will be a while.

I custom ordered my 2000 Ram and took possesion of it in November 1999. Other than the Hemi coming out later and the bottom of the front doors starting to rust, I haven't seen a new Ram since then that I would want more than what I already have.

Note to Dodge: The Quadcab with suicide doors has yet to be surpassed in any newer models.

my is 2004 reg cab with 8 foot box is going to keep forever because of no more good paying jobs!!! Why pay more and have to worry about getting bankrup! Also, 2 months left payments. I have a lot of history with girls in back of my truck for memory! haha

I wanted to keep my 1500 till I ran it into the ground and it died, then fix it and keep going. But unfortunately, she's gone... So my plan now is to keep my 2500 as long as possible

The 96 came to live with me in 2003. No plans to get rid of either one yet.

Everything for me is circumstantial. It tends to average 4-6 years.

When I was a Ford guy, I replaced my truck every 24 to 36-months. Once I got my Dodge, you could pry it out of hands!

Traditionally I have gotten a new one every three years or so, but the '07 will have been here five years in January.
