fitment might be an issue, but with enough patience anything is possible, strong motors, would last forever if you get it goin'

I don't think so, I believe it got dropped earlier in the 80's

I think production on the slant 6 ended in 87 but there are several million of them laying around you can get free.I have a bunch of HiPo stuff for the slant sixes but all you really need to make one a real monster is find a super six intake and a 2 barrel carb(hundreds of them in junkyards for around $50) and a header.You would have to have the 91 and up core support and hood to get enough room to stick it in there.The other problem would be oil pan clearance. I have been looking at the oposite swap,sticking a V6 and overdrive into my 1969 Dart GT convertible but right now the V6 I have is getting worse milage than the last good 340 I built so there is no real advantage.
