I know these are manufactured by ford, as are my rear view mirrors. but uh.. what would you actually call these?

sorry if its in the wrong forum, had no clue where it would go, and wanted an actual response ;)

I figured they were something in the area.. i just can't seem to find where to purchase a new set.. a few of them have fell off or been scratched.. and i've been thinking about replacing them..

Beat me to the punch... I have installed a set of these on my boat... Cleats are MUCH stronger than stock tiedowns and you can really crank em down tight!

the cleats are strong as shiat...gaurenteed. the metal the hooks are bolted to is another story. it put a backing plate on the opposite side of the cleat for any real torquing

I've really reefed on mine (with ratchet straps) and never had a problem.

I think I'd buckle the sidewall of the bed before the cleat came loose :D
