I have an '87 dodge b250, 318 2BBL. Pulled a Holley 2280 out of it and was in the process of rebuilding it, but found an offer I couldn't refuse on a Holley 6280.

My question for all you wonderful folks out there is whether I can just swap this in with some minor wiring (Additional bowl vent solenoid) or if this is not even in the realm of possibility and I should just continue re-building the 2280 and call it a day.

Thanks ahead of time for your help and advice. Looking forward to having the ol' girl running again!

So I decided to post the solution I found. The holley 2280 and 6280 are for the most part, interchangeable. The 6280 can go on there and you can leave the solenoid and the bowl wires disconnected. The only drawback to this is the system will run a little rich.
