i removed my hitch reciever about 2 years ago, and now i can't find the bolts for it.

does anyone know what size/type bolts are used? are there nuts also, or does it thread into the frame, i can't remember..

Mine uses nuts and bolts. I'm not sure of the size, but go with the biggest grade 8 hardware that will fit in the holes and you can't go wrong.

thank you. i also couldn't remember the grade..that helps a ton. i'm going out to measure and then to the hardware store tomorrow.

well i found some of my old bolts. it appears as though they are actually 31/64", but i am going to replace the lost ones with 1/2".

and yes, they need nuts, the frame is not threaded.

Get some washers as well - if you can find the hardened grade 8, those would be best.
