I got a 2000 ram 1500 w/ the 5.9. Lately it has a surge when I am stopped at a stop light. Its not too bad, only 100-200 rpm, but will occasionally surge 500rpm then catch itself and be back to normal for about 30 sec. then start doing it again. If I put it in nuetral when it is doing this it will idle at 1200-1400. It only does it after the truck has been driven for more than about 20 min. I tried replacing the tps twice but it still comes back. Is it possible I got a couple bad ones from autozone or should I be looking for another problem?
Thanks

IAC is bad . to test , remove IAC keep it connected to harness . have an assistant turn the key on/no start , why you watch the pindle . it should move freely in and out then stop . any jerking or hesitation its bad . you can try cleaning with carb cleaner but that might not work .
