I installed my vararam, which by the way is awesome, but now I'm throwing a code. It's p0112 ( intake air temp sensor output voltage too low). My supperchips won't clear the code, the sensor looks fine and I can't imagine that I damaged it. I tried taking the wire extension that comes with the vararam but still get the code. How can I test if the sensor is boned? Why can't I clear the code with my superchips?

Is the sensor plugged in good??

plug the sensor back into the stock connector and just let it hang and clear the code and see if it comes back, maybe a bad exstension

Unplug the sensor and then plug it back in securely. Then reset your computer and start the truck. That should get rid of the code.

You can disconnect your negative battery terminal for a few minutes...or you can do it by pulling a fuse, but I dont know which fuse it is on the 05's.

Maybe #23.....but thats on my 4.7L ....so it could be different!!!

sweet that got rid of the code. I definetally got a bad extension wire, the good news is I didn't really need it the stock wires just barely reach.
